Join us in serving the world flavor!\nA General Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations. This position is critical to Wingstop Restaurants; ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation, customer relations, inventory management, financial accountability, also ensures that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer and other duties as required or assigned by the General Manager.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nEnsure that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Guest Service.\nControl shrinkage, waste, expenses, and payroll. Ensure appropriate cleanliness, sanitation, safety and staffing standards are maintained.\nReview restaurant trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives.\nEnsure compliance with all Company policies and procedures through regular restaurant management and staff meetings, walk-through and audits, etc.\nOpen and/or close the Restaurant\nAssemble and package orders according to the Wingstop standard\nAssist all other positions when necessary\nReceive, inspect, and sign/pay for deliveries in the GM’s absence\nPlace orders with vendors when necessary\nMaintain a current Operations Manual, and follow all procedures\nConduct a daily walk through and taste test of products at opening\nMake sure the time and temps are done every two hours\nEnsure that all products are fresh and prepared correctly\nKeep the flow of orders moving on time\nKeep the restaurant safe and clean for both the crewmember and the guest\nHandle guest issues in the GM’s absence\nAssist in keeping kitchen clean throughout the shift\nEnsure that all crewmembers are health safety conscious at all times\nPromote the Wingstop Brand and uphold the mandatory operating requirements\nKeep the Wingstop philosophy alive for crewmembers and guests\nSupport the other Brand Partners in your network\nEnforce the Wingstop uniform and jewelry policy\nAbility to thoroughly understand and follow instructions in how to use chemical cleaning products\nBrings problems to the attention of the supervisor; is willing to ask for help. Identifies and introduces new ideas and solutions to create efficiency in the operation.\nRepresents the brand and department in a professional and polished manner at all times. ·\nRequirements: Guest service mentality; has a genuine desire to serve the customer. Strong verbal communication and listening skills. Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations. Manages multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through. Well organized and detail oriented. Experience must include business planning, with direct responsibility for operational and financial results. Must have demonstrated expertise in identifying areas for improvement and establish and implement procedures and performance standards to increase profitability.\nAbility to teach others to understand the financial impact of operational decisions, and help to establish and implement performance measurements and procedures to reach goals. Consultative and coaching approach; tolerant of others’ viewpoints. Ability to use persuasion and negotiation and other communication principles to influence results. Strong problem-solving skills; desire to accept a leadership role, and remain tactful while approaching conflict management. Ability to remain composed and rational in adverse or confrontational situations.
