Our commitment to building and innovating in the AI space provides the framework intended to drive smarter decision making and enhance how we build and operate our platforms and applications.\n\nAs a member of Point72’s Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one—helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity—all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.\n\nWhat you’ll do\nEngineer resilient network security solutions that protect Point72’s global technology environment and support our firm’s investment teams\nOwn the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Palo Alto firewall infrastructure across enterprise and perimeter environments\nDesign firewall policies that balance strong security controls with reliable connectivity for business-critical applications and users\nTroubleshoot complex network security issues through root-cause analysis, coordinated remediation, and clear communication with affected stakeholders\nPartner with infrastructure, application, and security teams to integrate network security requirements into new platforms and service deployments\nStrengthen network segmentation practices to reduce risk, improve visibility, and support secure connectivity across internal and external environments\nMonitor firewall performance and security posture to identify tuning opportunities, capacity needs, and policy improvements\nDevelop clear operational documentation that supports consistent implementation, faster incident response, and effective knowledge sharing across the team\nContribute to security assessments, remediation planning, and control validation for network infrastructure and related services\n\nWhat’s required\nSeven or more years of experience in network security engineering, network engineering, or infrastructure security within an enterprise technology environment\nStrong hands-on skills in Palo Alto firewall infrastructure, including configuration, troubleshooting, policy management, and operational support\nExperience designing and managing firewall rules, application-based controls, user-based controls, network address translation, and high-availability configurations\nKnowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including routing, switching, segmentation, secure remote access, and internet perimeter security\nExperience investigating network security events, diagnosing connectivity issues, and driving timely remediation in production environments\nAbility to create and maintain accurate technical documentation for firewall configurations, support procedures, and network security standards\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues\nEffective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to engineering, security, and business stakeholders\nCommitment to the highest ethical standards\n\nWe take care of our people\n\nWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
