The candidate must bring specialized knowledge in cleanroom standards, HVAC systems, and mechanical systems integration.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nPerform requirements classification of clients, communicating project requirements and design review with internal & external design team for Mechanical System, such as, process exhaust duct, scrubber for waste air treatment, and dosing chemical.\n\nPerform the required scope of work and clarify specification with stakeholders.\n\nAssist procurement team on the procurement of Mechanical systems equipment & materials’ and assist in contractors’ awards.\n\nUnderstand isometrics, P&ID and CAD drawings specifically for ME systems.\n\nReview, approve and oversee the installation of ME systems.\n\nInspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms with specifications and assure adherence to construction schedules.\n\nReview progress reports, materials used and costs, contract payment application, and adjust work schedules as indicated by the reports.\n\nReview & reply RFI (Request for information) and change orders.\n\nProvide daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use and client communication.\n\nIdentify and solve problems.\n\nScheduling and schedule execution.\n\nUnderstand drawing and review specifications and estimation.\n\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\n\nEducation/Experience\n\nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\n\n1-3+ years of work experience related to Mechanical Engineering with a strong focus on cleanroom construction desired. Experience in HVAC is required.\n\nSkills and Competencies\n\nStrong understanding of process exhaust duct sizing & layout, mechanism of scrubber for waste air treatment.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).\n\nAbility to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Primavera, or others.\n\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\n\nHigh level of attention to detail, and highly organized.\n\nAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.\n\nAbility to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees.\n\nAbility to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.\n\nMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.\n\nAbility to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).\n\nLanguage Proficiency\n\nEffective English verbal and written communication skills required.\n\nAbility to communicate in Mandarin/Taiwanese is a plus.\n\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.\n\nRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence.\n\nNice to have\n\nStart-up experience.\n\nVerbal communication skills in Mandarin.\n\nProfessional Engineer license.\n\nAdditional Requirements\n\nMust have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
