We are seeking an additional team member to lead our Program Management efforts; a dedicated individual with good work ethics that is seeking a long-term career with a stable company.\nPay Range: $27-37/hour, depending on experience\nSummary:\nThe Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process to ensure that they meet the quality and reliability standards set by the organization. The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with management and engineering staff to interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and determine quality and reliability standards. This position also involves evaluating data and writing reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerforms incoming inspection, in process inspection and final inspections using Faro Arms and hand tools including calipers, micrometer, height gage, thread gage, etc.\nPerforms mechanical inspection using CMM with CMM manager software.\nInterprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.\nSelects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.\nRecords test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.\nEvaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.\nPerform inspections and generate Certificates of Conformance as required or directed.\nSets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure conformance to requirements.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nAssociate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nLanguage Skills:\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\nAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.\nMathematical Skills:\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.\nAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.\nComputer Skills:\nWorking knowledge of: Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel.\nDaily record keeping according to company policies.\nFaro Arm and CMM programming skills is a must\nOther Skills and Abilities:\nPhone, e-mail communication skills and file organization skills.\nOther Qualifications:\nProven metrology and GD & T experience\nInspection Experience - Mechanical and Process\nAuditor Experience - Internal and External\nBasic Understanding of ISO 9000 or AS9100 Standard\nKnowledge of JobBoss and Unipoint is a plus\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
