Construction Site Coordinator

Position OverviewThe Construction Site Coordinator plays a key role in supporting field operations by serving as the communication link between the Operations and Field Superintendent, field crews, Project Management team, and payroll. This position ensures accurate and timely flow of field data that directly impacts job costing, labor tracking, payroll processing, safety compliance, and project execution.The role is responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, supporting daily field activities, and ensuring consistency in reporting, safety coordination, and operational execution across multiple job sites located at the airport. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, security-controlled construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Field Reporting & CommunicationIn coordination with the Operations and Field Superintendent, the Site Coordinator will:Prepare and submit daily field reports using Raken, including site progress updates, photo documentation, labor tracking tied to payroll and job costing, and documentation of delays, incidents, and field issuesCommunicate daily field activities clearly to Project Management and payrollEnsure accurate and timely reporting of field conditions and production activitiesPayroll, Timekeeping & Cost Tracking Populate, review, and maintain field timecards for accuracy and proper cost codingCoordinate daily labor data flow to payroll for processingAssist with payroll-related corrections, adjustments, and verification of field hoursTrack labor allocations across multiple airport job sites for accurate job costingProcess and track Time & Material (T&M) tickets accurately and in a timely mannerProject Coordination & Documentation Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure data integrity throughout all project phasesAssist with coordination between field teams and office staff to align schedules, materials, and scopeSupport material deliveries, inventory tracking, and site logistics coordination within airport access proceduresAirport Site Compliance & Security Requirements Comply with all airport security protocols, badging requirements, and access control proceduresMaintain valid airport security credentials or ability to obtain and retain clearanceFollow all restricted area, escort, and identification requirements at all timesAdhere to all airside/landside separation rules and controlled movement proceduresParticipate in required airport safety and security trainingImmediately report any security or access violations to the Superintendent or designated authoritySafety & Quality Support Assist in enforcement of the site safety plan alongside the Superintendent and Safety teamAssist with quality control checks to ensure work meets project standards and specificationsAssist with safety documentation, including uploading Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), submitting required documentation to GC/Owner portals, and tracking compliance requirementsGeneral Field Support Provide general field support, including light construction assistance when directedTravel between multiple airport job sites as required (within secured areas as authorized)Perform other duties as assignedQualifications Experience in construction, field coordination, payroll support, or related role preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively with field crews, supervisors, office staff, and payrollComfortable using construction technology (Raken, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)Ability to work in a fast-paced, security-controlled environmentReliable transportation and ability to access airport job sitesHigh School Diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license with a safe driving record requiredAbility to pass drug screen and background checkPreferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferredExperience working in airport or secured construction environmentsForklift certification or willingness to obtainFamiliarity with construction sequencing and field operationsAbility to interpret construction drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details)Experience in commercial construction environmentsKnowledge of tile and stone installation processesOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is strongly preferredPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical activity during site visitsAbility to work in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to weather, noise, and construction activityAbility to safely handle materials, tools, and equipmentUse of computer, tablet, and mobile devices for documentation and reportingConditions of Employment Must have valid work authorizationMust be at least 18 years oldMust pass drug screening and background checkMust be eligible to obtain and maintain airport security clearance/badgingMust comply with all airport authority and TSA security requirementsMust be flexible with working hoursMust be able to travel between multiple airport job sites within secured areasValid driver's license and proof of insurance required for work-related drivingCompensation & Benefits Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysPrevailing Wage opportunities (government projects)Company-paid Life InsuranceMedical InsuranceVoluntary Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance401(k) Contribution Plan
