Role Description We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for an on-site contract role located in McAllen, TX. The counselor will provide mental health services, including therapy sessions, treatment planning, and relationship counseling, to a diverse range of clients. Responsibilities also include creating individualized therapeutic plans, managing client cases, maintaining accurate documentation, and applying evidence-based practices to support client wellbeing and personal growth. Collaboration with team members and a commitment to professional development are essential aspects of this role. Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in Mental Health, Psychology, and Treatment PlanningProficiency in Relationship Counseling, including family and couples therapyExperience in Case Management, including maintaining client records and coordinating careLicensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent in the state of TexasExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to ongoing education and staying informed on the latest mental health practicesMaster’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related fieldBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
