We combine craftsmanship, innovation, and collaborative expertise to create award-winning experiences while continually investing in our people, technology, and community.Summary/ObjectiveThe Production Associate position is responsible for supporting a variety of production functions and departments including, stripping paperboard cartons, performing bindery fulfillment, etc. The Production Associate position supports a machine operator to ensure maximum quality, productivity, and accuracy.Essential FunctionsMaintain safety standards while working on equipmentUsing a hammer, air hammer or other scrapping device to remove excess material from pre-scored paperboard cartons.Place stripped cartons neatly on palletKeep clean, safe work environmentReads and follows directions as indicatedWatch for quality of the printsCounts products for accuracyBoxes items for shipmentPerforms hand fulfillment duties such as folding boxes, hand inserting documents or other materialsSupports other departments as neededCompetenciesAbility to read and write EnglishAbility to effectively communicate with multiple levels of the organizationAbility to follow directionsAbility to work independentlyAttentive to detailExcellent Attendance requiredBasic computer skillsRequired Experience And EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Experience And EducationDirect mail, packaging, print experience preferredWork Environment Subject to Heat -The worker is subject to heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
