The ideal candidate should also bring solid Oracle knowledge, with the ability to handle the end-to-end migration with minimal oversight and maximum ownership.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and database objects.\nDevelop scalable database solutions supporting enterprise applications.\nPerform SQL query tuning and database performance optimization.\nAnalyze execution plans and identify performance bottlenecks.\nSupport data migration, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.\nDevelop ETL/data integration processes.\nCollaborate with application developers, DBAs, analysts, and QA engineers.\nTroubleshoot production data and application issues.\nDevelop scripts supporting automated database deployments.\nEnsure database solutions follow security, data integrity, and coding standards.\nAssist with data modeling and database design.\nUse AI-assisted development tools to accelerate query development, documentation, troubleshooting, and performance analysis while validating generated code.\nSupport data structures and pipelines required for AI-enabled features, analytics, semantic search, or machine learning applications where applicable.\nQualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n7+ years of SQL/database development experience.\nAdvanced SQL development skills.\nStrong experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle.\nExperience with stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, indexing, and query optimization.\nKnowledge of relational database design and data modeling.\nExperience troubleshooting high-volume enterprise databases.\nFamiliarity with ETL and data integration.\nUnderstanding of source control and CI/CD practices.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted software development and modern data platforms.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nFederal/FDA/HHS experience.\nExperience with Azure SQL/AWS database services.\nPython or scripting experience.\nExperience supporting AI/ML data workloads.\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
