In this role, you will assist customers with questions regarding their gas bills, payments, account information, and general account-related concerns.\n\nThe ideal candidate is patient, professional, and comfortable assisting customers with billing and account issues while providing a positive customer experience.\n\nThis is a remote position for those that reside in = AL, GA, ID, IA, IN, KS, LA, MI, MS, NV, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TX, TN, UT, VA, WV, WI, WY\n\nResponsibilities\nAssist customers with questions regarding their natural gas bills and account balances\nProcess and assist with customer payments\nResearch and resolve account-related issues\nExplain billing information, charges, and payment options clearly\nUpdate and maintain accurate customer account information\nHandle customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently\nFollow established procedures and privacy requirements\nDocument customer interactions accurately\nEscalate issues when additional assistance or authorization is required\nProvide excellent customer service on every interaction\nQualifications\n1 year Previous customer service, call center, or office experience preferred\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nComfortable working with billing and account information\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to navigate multiple computer systems\nProfessional and empathetic approach to customer concerns\nReliable attendance and punctuality\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nComfortable handling potentially difficult customer interactions\nMust be comfortable cross training on other accounts\n$14 - $14 an hour\nStarting pay - $14/hr plus shift differential(extra $1/hr nights & wkds)\nWorking hours between- 7:00am-9:00pm (CST) ; Work Days - M-F\nPaid Training - typically 1 week in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST)\nStatus - Full Time 40 hours, Benefit eligible 1st of month after 60 days\nFive Star Solutions values diversity and is committed to cultivating a professional, diverse workforce by hiring the best people available and providing the best service possible to our customers.
