This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to remediate identified vulnerabilities and would involved in application development too.\nEssential Functions\nEngineers need to have strong development skills in Java, Go Lang, AWS services, and possibly mobile application development. Hands on development experience needed as this role requires development as scope.\nConduct security assessments on applications, including static and dynamic code analysis, to identify vulnerabilities. Provide reports/artifacts, recommendations for remediations.\nWork with multiple teams to remediate the identified vulnerabilities, and to engineer and implement solutions to meet security standards, and guidelines.\nAssess and enhance the security posture of cloud-based environments, such as AWS.\nResponds to information system security incidents, including investigation of, countermeasures to, and recovery from computer-based attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches; interacts and coordinates with third-party incident responders, including law enforcement.\nDevelop and maintain application security controls and countermeasures.\nCollaborate on security research activities such as testing tools, and emerging threats that may have an adverse impact on cybersecurity.\nCompetencies\nProblem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.\nStrong leadership, diplomatic, negotiation, and motivational skills.\nStrong communications skills. Able to communicate clearly, persuasively and in a positive manner.\nStrong interpersonal skills.
