Founding Sales Lead

The companyWe run #hamburg, the biggest citypage brand in Germany. 1M+ followers across Instagram, TikTok, 4+ profitable years, 7-figure revenue. The customer roster isn't just local cafés. McDonald's, Dyson, SIXT, Hamburg Airport, Rituals, Uber Eats, Courtyard by Marriott, plus 1000+ restaurants, hotels, bars, and experiences. Now we're launching in the US under a new brand: Selects. First city: Philadelphia. From there, 10–20 cities across the US.We're tiny. We're scaling through AI, not headcount. And we need someone who can sell. What you'll actually doCalls are the job. We hand you the leads, fully qualified, enriched, prioritized, and you turn them into founding partners in Philly.Close the first 30+ founding partners in Philadelphia (restaurants, bars, hotels, experiences, local brands).Open the brand / enterprise lane, the same way Dyson and McDonald's bought in Hamburg.Run the playbook we build for you, at volume. Iterate on objections, not on the process itself.Onboard new partners cleanly so renewals and referrals compound.Become the sales engine that carries Selects from city 1 to city 20.You won't build the pipeline. You won't build the deck. You won't build the CRM. We handle all of that. Your job is conversations and closes.Heads up on ramp-up: we're in launch mode. Calls start in the coming weeks, not on day one. You won't hit peak volume from week one, you'll grow into it continuously as we scale lead supply and city coverage. If you want a desk that's already buried in dials, this is too early. If you want to be the one who builds that pipeline from quiet-but-real into full-throttle and owns the slope, this is exactly the moment.Who you are2–3+ years in sales, ideally B2B / SMB / media / advertising.Phone-clear English for US buyers. Sales calls only work if the prospect can follow you effortlessly on the first try, no straining, no asking you to repeat. Native, near-native, or a clean neutral accent all clear that bar. This is a call-quality requirement of the role, not a preference. You don't need to live in the US, work from wherever closes deals. You pick up new tools fast. We will hand you an AI / automation stack most sales teams don't have access to. If "new tool on Monday" excites you, good. If it stresses you out, this isn't a fit.High volume doesn't scare you. You measure your day in conversations, not in coffee meetings.Builder mentality. Tiny team, founder-direct, your input shapes how the US rollout runs. No politics, no middle layer.Fully remote, but on US time. Our founders already sit in different timezones, so the team is async-first and self-directing; no one will hand you a schedule on Monday. The calls aren't async though: you need to cover US business hours (roughly 9am–6pm ET, Mon–Fri) and be reachable when Philly is awake.Big plus, not required: real fluency in US subcultures, you've lived there, worked there, or built genuine taste for how local America actually talks. We can teach the product. We can't easily teach you Philly.CompensationPure commission, starting at 15% of every dollar you close. Uncapped, with room to grow into a higher cut as you prove the engine. No base, no draw. We'd rather give you a real cut of real revenue than a comfortable salary. The bigger Philly gets, the bigger you get. Same for every city after, and we're going to 10–20 cities.Equity conversation on the table if you become the engine of US growth. If you read "pure commission" and think "good, then nobody's capping me", we want to talk. If it makes you nervous, this probably isn't the role.To apply, answer theseShort is fine, vague is not.Show us you understand the buyer. Pick a US city you know well, or if you don't know any US city deeply, pick a city anywhere in the world you do know. Name 3 distinct subcultures inside it (not "hipsters" or "foodies", be specific). Who pays attention to whom, and why does that matter for a local media brand?Tell me about a sales playbook someone else built that you ran at high volume. What stayed exactly as designed? What did you tweak, and how did you avoid breaking the system while tweaking? What's the highest sustained call volume / live conversation count you've ever hit per week? When was it, what was the product, and what broke first, your voice, your CRM hygiene, your close rate, or something else?A German citypage brand sells to McDonald's, Dyson, and Hamburg Airport, alongside 1000+ local restaurants. Which of those two lanes do you think is the harder sell in the US, and why?How do you stay on top of a busy pipeline day-to-day? Walk us through your system, how you keep the CRM clean, how you make sure nothing slips, what tools you actually rely on.Six months in, what does a good day in this role look like to you? What does a bad one look like?ApplyEmail + Loom or written response, your choice. hello@selects.co
