We do this by working with agencies that have significant impact on the young people most likely to shoot or be shot, providing:\nTraining in trauma-informed interventions to build new knowledge, skills, and practices.\nFacilitating the design and implementation of focused, coordinated approaches to supporting agency and systems change.\nCoaching to build staff capacity to implement, adapt and sustain programming over time.\nRoca is an internationally recognized community violence intervention organization that has been moving the needle on urban violence for more than three decades. In recent years in Massachusetts, 4 of 5 young men who came to Roca with a violent record stopped engaging in violence, and 95% of young men who completed two years with Roca were not re-incarcerated.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Operations Associate provides high quality day-to-day administrative and logistics support for client work delivered by the Roca Impact Institute. We are looking for an organized and self-directed individual with demonstrated experience coordinating training and travel logistics and completing administrative duties with accuracy and follow-through.
