Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionStrong requirement elicitation & analysis skills.Ability to understand requirements, convert them to design, and pass them to the team seamlessly.Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation, and provide on-time status.Good knowledge in data warehousing concepts and logical/physical database design.Extensive knowledge of the Teradata database, data warehousing and information architecture.Excellent understanding of Teradata architecture. Knowledge of Teradata CLDM will be an asset.Hands-on experience in performing optimization and tuning activities in Teradata.Hands-on experience in Stored Procedures, BTEQ, and Teradata utilities for loading and exporting data.Should come up with work estimation and provide inputs to managers on resource and risk planning.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Unix shell scripting.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication.QualificationsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.Additional InformationU.S. citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encouraged to apply.
