We are looking for people to join us and be a part of our exciting future as one of the top corporate trust firms in North America.\nThe Sanctions Case Research Analyst role is responsible for the review and investigation of transactional alerts against U.S. and other sanction lists and will deliver high-quality work within strict delivery guidelines. The guidelines include successful delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards.\nThe Sanctions Case Research Analyst is also expected to work collaboratively across teams within the same department and CCT Compliance to resolve Sanctions related inquiries timely and accurately.\nA role you will love\nThe Analyst will work closely with their manager and relevant stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate results. The Analyst will work with internal information sources for information clarification, guidance, and/or assistance in resolving inquiries.\nAdditionally, the Analyst may be asked to provide ad-hoc or time-sensitive Sanctions checks to meet the immediate business or parent needs.\nSome of your responsibilities will include:\nReview accounts and account transactions with potential Sanctions matches to ensure compliance with sanctions.\nMust document investigations, escalation and resolution of sanctions matches for retention and audit records.\nIdentifies transactions that have the potential to be Blocked or Rejected and provides first level review of transactions.\nCollects information and obtains relevant supporting documentation of Sanctions dispositions.\nCompares potential matches to the Computershare’s client list and communicates with internal departments and other financial institutions to gather information to resolve match.\nWork with Bank payments and wire clearing and corresponding with other financial institutions.\nAssists with the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents.\nAssist with audit or regulatory examination process.\nWhat will you bring to the role?\nBachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; one- or two-years’ experience or related training in the finance or banking industry.\nCurrent working knowledge in AML, OFAC and sanctions requirements.\nStrong organization and time management skills and ability to work independently.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize between conducting thorough Sanctions reviews, sending correspondence internally or externally, case documentation, communication status of Sanctions review and working on department reporting as needed.\nStrong Analytical, Research and Investigative skills to conduct thorough due diligence reviews on escalated transactions.\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.\nAbility to work in high-volume, high pressure processing environment.\nStrong verbal and written communication.\nRewards designed for you\nPaid parental leave , flexible working and caring and inclusive culture.\nHealth and wellbeing rewards that can be tailored to support you and your family, including medical, dental and vision.\nInvest in your future with 401k matching and tax-advantaged flexible spending plans, including healthcare, dependent care and commuter.\nIncome protection .
