The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.\nResponsibilities\nProtect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment\nObserve for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances\nAct lawfully in direct defense of life or property\nTake accurate notes of unusual occurrences\nReport in detail any suspicious incidents\nPatrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter\nMonitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates\nAn extremely high-level of customer service skills are needed.\nRoutine heavy lifting may be required.\nRoutine walking is required.\nClimbing Staircases multiple times throughout shift may be required.\nMonitor and authorize entrance and departure of residents, visitors, and other persons, in order to maintain security of the entirety of the building.\nKnowledgeable about residential and/or commercial rules, and effectively answer inquiries specific to the property.\nWatch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.\nEffectively understand and utilize technology products such as a smartphone, computer, tablet, etc.\nAbility to prepare reports in a clear and concise manner.\nSpelling and grammar skills are essential.\nAnswer alarms and investigate disturbances.\nThe company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.\nSkills\nProven work experience as a security guard or relevant position\nTrained security officer with diploma\nAbility to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment\nExcellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols\nSurveillance skills and detail orientation\nIntegrity and professionalism\nHigh school degree\nJob Qualifications & Requirements:\nCurrent Arizona Security Guard License\nAt least 1 year of experience as security guard preferred, but not required.\nMust be at least age 18.\nMust be able to pass an in-depth criminal background check.\nMust be able to pass a drug screening.
