This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s office.\n\nJob Description:\nWe are seeking a Web3 Engineer to help design, build, and scale the next generation of blockchain and tokenization infrastructure. This role will focus on engineering reusable Web3 platform capabilities across smart contracts, token lifecycle services, blockchain connectivity, wallets, custody integrations, transaction orchestration, event indexing, and production-grade distributed systems. This engineer will work across Ethereum/EVM, Hyperledger Besu, Canton/Daml, permissioned blockchains, public blockchains, private/consortium networks, and emerging tokenization protocols. The role requires a hands-on builder who can move from architecture and prototyping into secure, scalable, production ready Web3 infrastructure.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign and build reusable Web3 platform services for tokenization, transaction processing, and wallet integration.\nDevelop backend services interacting with blockchain nodes, smart contracts, and custody platforms.\nImplement blockchain connectivity using JSON-RPC, WebSocket subscriptions, and smart-contract queries.\nWork with Daml application concepts, including DAR package deployment and application enablement.\nDesign and integrate smart contracts for tokenized asset workflows.\nIntegrate with institutional wallet, custody, signing, and authorization platforms.\n\nMandatory Skills:\n\n5+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems or blockchain infrastructure.\nStrong hands-on Web3 engineering experience.\nDeep understanding of Ethereum/EVM and smart contracts.\nExperience with JSON-RPC, WebSocket subscriptions, and blockchain event indexing.\nStrong backend engineering skills in languages like Java, Go, or TypeScript.\nExperience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native engineering.\nAbility to independently manage complex engineering problems.\n\nNice-to-Have Skills:\n\nExperience with Canton, Daml, validator/participant concepts, DAR deployment, or institutional blockchain workflows.\nExperience with Hyperledger Besu or permissioned EVM networks.\nExperience with smart-contract audits and secure deployment.\nExperience building blockchain indexers or custody integrations.\nKnowledge of token standards like ERC-20 or ERC-721.\nRelevant blockchain certifications or training.\n\nAssignment Length:\nThis is an initial 6-month engagement.\n\nStart Date:\nASAP.\n\nWeb3 Engineer - Assignment Location:\nSouthlake, TX or Austin, TX.
