Built on integrity.\n\nAbout the Role:\nThe Crew Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of a team to ensure efficient and high-quality completion of projects. This position requires strong leadership to motivate and guide crew members, manage resources effectively, and maintain safety standards on site. The Crew Leader acts as the primary point of contact between management and the crew, facilitating clear communication and timely problem resolution. Success in this role results in streamlined operations, enhanced team productivity, and the consistent achievement of project goals within established timelines. Ultimately, the Crew Leader contributes significantly to the overall success and reputation of the organization by fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nProven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a crew or team environment.\n\nStrong understanding of safety protocols and ability to enforce them consistently.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to read and interpret project plans and instructions.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nCertification in occupational safety or related fields.\n\nExperience in the specific industry relevant to the crew’s work (e.g., construction, landscaping, utilities).\n\nBasic first aid and CPR certification.\n\nFamiliarity with project management software or tools.\n\nDemonstrated ability to train and mentor team members effectively.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nSupervise and coordinate the daily tasks of crew members to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.\n\nAssign specific duties to team members based on their skills and project requirements.\n\nMonitor work progress and quality, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards.\n\nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.\n\nCommunicate effectively with management to report on project status, challenges, and resource needs.\n\nTrain new crew members and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.\n\nResolve conflicts and address any issues that arise within the crew promptly and professionally.\n\nSkills:\nThe Crew Leader utilizes leadership and organizational skills daily to coordinate team efforts and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
