Paralegal with Certification
Overview DC office (K Street): In the beginning, they may need to come in more often than 3 days a week. Can go up to 4-5 days eventually. Should not be hesitant coming onsite.
Travel related Note:
Travel to hearings a few times per year only. (4 trips in a year would be considered very heavy travel for them.) They will be given a heads up of the dates of travel months in advance.
The length of travel varies from 2 days to 2 weeks .
Travel for hearings generally is to other states with Client offices. Client has approximately 15 offices all over the country including in California, Texas, Illinois, Colorado. We also sometimes travel to states that do not have Client offices and use hotel facilities for hearings. Bottom line, travel could be anywhere in the United States.
Qualifications Paralegal experience particularly with litigation , would be helpful.
Paralegal certificate+any degree… OR other degrees, like Bachelor/Master’s in Law or Legal studies may suffice.

Savvy with tech as an end-user (can pick up Lexis quickly)
