Provide services and resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information to solve problems. Serve as teacher, materials expert, and curriculum adviser to ensure that the Information Literacy Center is involved in instructional programs of the school.QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:Master's degree from accredited college or universityValid Texas librarian or learning resources specialist certificate or endorsementSpecial Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of library scienceAbility to instruct and manage student behaviorStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience: Two creditable years of experience as a classroom teacher.CALENDAR: 190 work daysSALARY: Teacher Salary Schedule + Pay for extra days
