We are seeking a Quality Engineer – Manufacturing to support production quality systems, inspection processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis hands-on role supports manufacturing quality, supplier defect tracking, and new product introduction activities. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly environment and demonstrates LiquidStack's core behaviors: Flexible, Collaborative, Driven, Agile, Customer-Centric, and Attentive.\nKey Responsibilities\nInspection & Manufacturing Quality Ownership\nOwn and execute incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes.\nMaintain inspection checklists, documentation, and quality records.\nSupport first-pass yield improvement initiatives.\nEnsure product labeling and release documentation meet quality standards.\nRoot Cause & Corrective Action Support\nSupport root cause investigations using 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies.\nAssist in documenting corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\nVerify effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.\nDocument Control and Continuous Improvement\nOwn document control for quality-affecting documents\nDrive defect reduction and Kaizen initiatives, reduce rework hours and cost through root cause elimination, and improve yield through process optimization\nSupplier Quality Tracking\nTrack and document incoming supplier defects.\nCommunicate quality concerns with Supply Chain and Engineering.\nSupport supplier corrective action follow-up.\nNew Product Introduction (NPI) Participation\nParticipate in NPI builds and validation activities.\nSupport development of inspection plans and documentation updates.\nConduct First Article Inspection (FAI) on initial production units\nSupplier Quality\nTrack supplier performance (defect rate, and SCAR closure)\nDrive suppliers toward process control, validate special processes and reduce incoming inspection burden through supplier development and PPAP\nQuality Systems & Compliance\nMaintain calibration tracking system.\nSupport ISO 9001:2015 compliance.\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering required. Industrial Engineering preferred.\n3–5 years of quality experience in manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly.\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.\nExperience supporting root cause investigations.\nAbility to read mechanical drawings.\nProficiency in Excel.\nPreferred Qualifications\nASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, Green Belt, etc.) preferred.\nExperience with SPC, MSA, control plans, PFMEA, and inspection planning.\nPrior experience in electro-mechanical assembly, capital equipment manufacturing, or data center/thermal systems\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems and document control workflows.\nKey Competencies & Behaviors\nHands-On & Practical: Comfortable working directly on the production floor and engaging operators, technicians, and engineers.\nContinuous Improvement Mindset: Looks for root causes, not symptoms; drives solutions, not just documentation.\nAttention to Detail: Maintains rigorous standards in review, documentation, and inspection.\nOwnership & Accountability: Takes responsibility for assigned quality processes and follows through to closure.\nCollaboration & Communication: Works well across teams with clarity, professionalism, and consistency\nWork Environment\nPrimarily based on manufacturing floor\nMust follow all plant safety requirements and use PPE where required.\nMay require occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.\nMay require standing/walking for extended periods\nSPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT\nPlease note that the selected candidate for this position may be subject to a pre-employment background check and/or drug testing in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nLiquidStack is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
