You will greet guests as they enter and show them to their table or waiting area. You will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be. To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift.\nHostess Responsibilities:\nGreeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary.\nProviding guests with menus and answering any initial questions.\nSeating guests at tables or in waiting areas.\nAssigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.\nEngaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.\nResponding to complaints and helping to resolve them.\nTaking reservations and answering questions about the Down South CaJJun Eats menu\nKnowledge of the menu.\nHelping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.\nProviding exceptional customer service.\nTo-Go Order Systems /Curbside management\nHostess Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nAbility to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.\nA positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.\nDoes high-quality work while unsupervised.\nAble to work in a standing position for long periods of time.\nAble to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.\nWilling to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.\nAble to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.\nDown South CaJJun Eats was founded by twin brothers Jahmaal and Jermaine Dumes in the Spring of 2017. While Studying at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX they decided to take a leap of faith. Originally from Beaumont, TX they felt a tremendous part of their lives were missing in Austin. And that was Crawfish!\n\nComing from a family of cooks, they’ve always dreamed of starting a restaurant in their home state.
