This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data and supporting the organization’s growth and success.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1.Financial Reporting and Analysis:\nOversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.\nAnalyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making by senior management.\nEnsure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.\n2.Budgeting and Forecasting:\nLead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to develop realistic financial plans.\nPrepare financial forecasts and monitor performance against budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations.\n3.Compliance and Internal Controls:\nDevelop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.\nCoordinate and manage external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and audit recommendations are implemented.\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal tax filings and reporting requirements.\n4.Payroll Management:\nOversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and bonuses.\nEnsure compliance with payroll-related tax regulations and reporting requirements (e.g., W-2s, 1099s).\nManage payroll systems and vendors, ensuring seamless integration with accounting and HR systems.\nAddress payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.\nStay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.\n5.Team Leadership and Development:\nSupervise, mentor, and develop the accounting and payroll teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\nAssign and review the work of accounting and payroll staff, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed accurately.\nProvide training and professional development opportunities for team members.\n6.Process Improvement:\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting and payroll operations.\nStreamline accounting and payroll processes and systems to improve accuracy and reduce closing timelines.\nStay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting and payroll regulations to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.\n7.Strategic Financial Planning:\nCollaborate with the management to develop financial strategies and long-term financial planning.\nProvide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.\nAssist in evaluating new business opportunities, investments, and cost-saving initiatives.\nQualifications:\n-Education:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nCPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is strongly preferred.\n-Experience:\nMinimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.\nExperience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll management.\nMust have experience in QuickBooks Proficiency other software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho) is a plus\n-Skills:\nStrong understanding of GAAP, payroll regulations, and financial compliance.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExceptional attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong leadership and team management abilities.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.\n-Benefits:\nCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.\nPaid time off and holidays.\nProfessional development opportunities.\nSalary: USD $70k to $80k per year\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year\nBenefits:\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nPaid time off\nVision insurance\nApplication Question(s):\nHave you previously worked for a company with at least 40 employees?
