{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8cb992c6350d9eba23d68db6","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8cb992c6350d9eba23d68db6","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8cb992c6350d9eba23d68db6","title":"Avionics Tech","description":"System One is working with a client to find an Avionics Tech Level 1\n(Day Shift)\n\nResponsibilities\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test avionics and electronic components.\nPerform functional testing using approved test equipment and procedures.\nInterpret CMMs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.\nPerform soldering, component replacement, and circuit board repair as required.\nComplete work in compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.\nAccurately complete work orders, inspection documentation, and repair records.\nIdentify discrepancies and communicate findings to supervisors or engineering.\nMaintain proper handling of ESD-sensitive components.\nEnsure proper care and calibration of test equipment.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with FOD and safety procedures.\nSupport continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives.\nRequirements\nExperience working with avionics systems, electronic assemblies, or aircraft components.\nAssociate's degree or certification in Avionics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.\nExperience with electronic troubleshooting and testing equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and quality standards.\nAbility to work in a team-oriented production environment.\nBasic computer skills for documentation and work order tracking.\nStrong communication skills for documenting work and interacting with team members.\nFlexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.\nKnowledge of CMM procedures and aviation regulatory requirements (preferred).\nIPC solder certification or equivalent electronics repair experience (preferred).\nExperience with avionics test benches or automated test equipment (preferred).\nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods.\nAbility to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.\nGood manual dexterity for precision electronic work.\nAbility to work with small components and fine wiring.\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
