This individual should possess mechanical aptitude, a good attitude, hard work ethic and ability to work efficiently. The starting wage is $15/hr with incremental raises determined each 6 month period based on satisfactory reviews.\nThe duties of this position include but are not limited to:\nAssisting Avionics technicians with installations\nAssisting certified A&P mechanics with maintenance\nMaking parts runs and various shop errands\nMaintaining shop cleanliness (Indoor and Outdoor)\nCompleting shop projects\nMust be able to work Monday through Thursday, some Friday’s and overtime if needed. This position would be an opportunity for someone to gain mechanical experience with on-the-job training in an active shop with guidance from experienced A&P mechanics and Avionics technicians.\nRequirements:\nEfficient work ethic and drive\nStrong mechanical abilities/aptitude\nAbility to read and comprehend manuals\nAbility to shift focus and tasks quickly based on priorities\nA strong desire to become a professional aircraft maintenance technician\nAbility to pass pre-employment and random drug tests\nValid driver license\nNote: Please submit a cover letter along with your resume.
