Industrial Electrician

EFI-Solutions is seeking a person with electrical experience to join our union shop floor. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical systems, demonstrating proficiency in the installation of electrical components. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics and the ability to work with high-voltage systems. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant codes and standards. Also other duties as assigned.Duties.Install electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ammeters to effectively troubleshoot electrical issues.Read and interpret electrical schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs.Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including frame carpentry tasks as needed.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices while performing all tasks.ExperienceFamiliarity with high voltage systems and the ability to handle related tasks safely.Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are a plus but not mandatory.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftAbility to Commute:Centralia, IL 62801 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:Centralia, IL 62801: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
