If you would like to be considered during the next round of hirings and have the qualifications, please apply.SUMMARY:Responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering samples and related items and completing appropriate forms and documentation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Picks up, transports and delivers samples, documents, materials and other items as needed.\r\nReviews, completes and processes documents, databases, and related materials and information for sample pick up, transport and delivery.\r\nPrepares vehicle or truck for daily operations, including documents, safety, and related areas.\r\nProvides basic support in the application and assistance to staff and management regarding the transport of samples.\r\nProvides basic support researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve employee, management and related customer issues.\r\nAssists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations; receives guidance and direction or escalates when required.\r\nContributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.\r\nPromotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent; experience in related work is preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.Valid Driver's License.\r\nRequired Knowledge and SkillsRequired Knowledge:Sample pick up, transport and delivery principles, practices and techniques.\r\nUnderstanding of the daily administration of sample deliveries.\r\nCustomer service principles and practices.\r\nSafe driving principles and practices.\r\nAbility to learn applicable organizational policies and procedures.\r\nComputer applications and systems related to the work.\r\nPrinciples and practices to serving as an effective project team member.\r\nMethods to communicate with staff, coworkers, and customers to ensure safe, effective and appropriate operations.\r\nCorrect business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.\r\nRequired Skills:Safely operating a motor vehicle.\r\nProviding customer service.\r\nOperating in both a team and individual contributor environment.\r\nApplying and explaining organizational policies and procedures.\r\nMaintaining databases, forms, documents and related informati0n.\r\nUsing initiative and judgment within established department policies and procedures.\r\nUsing tact, discretion, and prudence in working with those contacted in the course of the work.\r\nPerforming effective oral presentations to groups and peers and the department.\r\nContributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities.\r\nEstablishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of individuals contacted in the course of the work.Find Your Place at Pace - We need you - your curiosity, your talents, and your drive - to help us advance this important work.Benefits\r\nWhen you join Pace®, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
