If you have a strong background in financial operations and thrive in a fast-paced academic environment, we invite you to apply and be considered for upcoming roles.This role is crucial to managing federal funding, alternative financing, and third-party billingensuring students are financially supported and institutional operations run smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister federal and alternative funding disbursements in compliance with all regulationsOversee third-party billing (WIA, TA, Vocational Rehab) and coordinate timely paymentsTrack Title IV refunds and credit balances; ensure timely and accurate processingReview student accounts and ledgers to verify adequate funding and identify financial concernsMeet with students to arrange payment plans and monitor cash paymentsManage account closeouts for graduates and drops, including reporting and compliance tasksCoordinate with Financial Aid on student refunds and process required exit documentationMaintain accurate records in CampusNexus, documenting financial transactions and communicationsPrepare weekly deposits and monthly submissions to accountingSupport inventory management, receive signed agreements, and keep accurate office documentationAttend monthly Census Meetings, trainings, and relevant professional development eventsMentor new staff and contribute to a positive, student-focused cultureComplete additional assignments as directed by the SupervisorQualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent professional experience)At least 2 years of financial/accounting experience, preferably in educationStrong math, accounting, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeHigh attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and stay organizedExcellent communication skills with a focus on customer serviceAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentFlexible availability, including occasional evenings and travel as neededPreferred:Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related fieldExperience using CampusNexus or similar student information systemsWork ScheduleSchedules vary based on the location and campus needs, but a typical schedule is:Monday Thursday: Two days: 9am 6pm AND Two days: 10am 7pmFriday: 8am 5pmWhat We OfferIn addition to a competitive wage of $24-$30 / hour, we offer a robust benefits package designed to support your long-term success:401(k) + Company MatchHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Parental LeavePaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)We are committed to offering a compensation and benefits package that promotes both career growth and personal well-being.How to ApplySubmit your application today to be considered for future openings at one of our Virginia campuses.
