This role supports the Director of Information Systems & Business Development by installing and supporting hardware and software systems, implementing cybersecurity controls, maintaining system documentation, leading IT projects, disaster recovery planning, and participating in after-hours on-call and End-of-Day monitoring rotations to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant technology operations across all branches.\r\nPrimary Responsibilities\r\nInfrastructure Administration\r\nInstall, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, hypervisors, operating systems, and business applications.\r\nAdminister Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, file/print services, and related infrastructure components.\r\nManage network systems including switches, routers, firewalls (FortiGate), VPNs, WiFi networks, and routing configurations.\r\nMaintain system documentation, network topology diagrams, configuration records, and asset inventories.\r\nSecurity & Compliance\r\nImplement and monitor cybersecurity measures, including access control, firewall policies, antivirus/EDR tools, patching, and system hardening.\r\nAdminister building security systems such as access control, surveillance platforms, and alarm systems.\r\nMaintain confidentiality of member information, internal systems, and business operations in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.\r\nCore Banking & Application Support\r\nAdminister Fiserv DNA and supporting interfaces used for daily operations.\r\nSupport document storage and retention platforms, andrelated systems.\r\nProvide application-level support to staff and coordinate upgrades, patches, and testing with vendors.\r\nNetwork, Telecom & Branch Support\r\nSupport telecommunications systems, including Mitel VoIP administration and internal communication tools.\r\nWork with vendors to coordinate network, phone, system, and building security maintenance and upgrades.\r\nProvide on-site and remote technical support for branch hardware, workstations, printers, and connectivity.\r\nDisaster Recovery & Backup Operations\r\nPerform and verify system and network backups using backup software (e.g., Veeam, Windows Backup, or similar).\r\nAssist with disaster recovery testing, documentation, replication, configuration updates, and recovery activities.\r\nProjects & Planning\r\nLead assigned technology projects through planning, implementation, documentation, and post-deployment support.\r\nAssist in evaluating new technologies, researching solutions, and recommending improvements for servers, networking, cybersecurity, and banking systems.\r\nSupport expansion, remodels, and new branch technology deployments.\r\nSupport, Training & On-Call Rotation\r\nProvide end-user training on new systems, applications, and procedures.\r\nMaintain cooperative, professional relationships with staff, management, and vendors.\r\nParticipate in the End-of-Day monitoring rotation, after-hours on-call schedule, and emergency response.\r\nMust be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for business operations.\r\nGeneral\r\nDemonstrate compliance with required department training\r\nPerform related and unrelated duties as assigned.\r\nDesired Skills and Qualifications\r\nExperience in network implementation, troubleshooting, and configuration (IPSec, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, WiFi).\r\nHands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls.\r\nProficiency with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra/Active Directory administration.\r\nBasic understanding of scripting languages such as PowerShell.\r\nExperience with Mitel VoIP systems.\r\nExperience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V).\r\nFamiliarity with backup Cove Backup solutions\r\nFiserv DNA or core banking experience preferred.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nMinimum of a high school diploma with technology-related training or certifications\r\n4+ years of experience in technical or systems administration role.\r\nBanking or Credit Union related operations experience\r\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users\r\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment\r\nWork Environment and Physical Demands\r\nThe role requires extended periods of sitting or standing at a desk in an open office environment. Frequent use of computers and telephones is necessary, with occasional lifting and carrying of equipment. Travel between branches may be required.
