Robots learn from human demonstrations, and the data you collect directly trains the robots we deploy for customers.\n\n*The Role*\n\nYou'll create the training data that teaches robots how to manipulate the physical world. Using handheld demonstration grippers, teleoperation rigs, and multi-camera capture systems, you'll perform real manipulation tasks like assembling parts, plugging in cables, and packing containers, and record them with the precision and consistency that machine learning demands. This is hands-on, physical, detail-driven work at the core of our technology.\n\n*What You'll Do*\n\n* Perform manipulation tasks (pick-and-place, cable insertion, assembly, container packing) using handheld data-collection grippers and teleop rigs, following defined task protocols\n* Set up and run recording sessions: position cameras, place calibration markers, verify recordings, and keep clean session logs\n* Reset scenes between episodes and introduce controlled variation so the data covers realistic conditions\n* Review collected footage, flag failed or low-quality episodes, and help label data\n* Keep equipment, workstations, and the collection area organized and in good working order\n* Give feedback on task design and collection protocols, since you'll see problems before anyone else does\n* Occasionally travel to customer or field sites for on-location data collection\n\n*What We're Looking For*\n\n* Excellent hand-eye coordination and comfort with repetitive, precise physical tasks\n* Strong attention to detail and consistency: you follow protocols exactly and notice when something's off\n* Basic computer skills (file management, recording software; we'll train you on our tools)\n* Able to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs\n* Reliable and punctual; able to work on-site in San Carlos\n* Authorized to work in the United States\n\n*Nice to Have*\n\n* Experience with VR, teleoperation, drones, or precision gaming\n* Familiarity with cameras or video production equipment\n* Robotics, engineering, or lab experience\n* Genuine interest in AI and robotics\n\n*What We Offer*\n\n* $20 - $25/hour to start\n* Health insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays for FTE\n* A clear growth path into robot operations, quality assurance, and task design\n* A front-row seat at an early-stage robotics startup where your work goes straight into robots operating in the field\n\n*Schedule*\n\nFull-time, Monday–Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, on-site at our San Carlos warehouse.\n\n*How to Apply*\n\nPlease attach a cover letter with your application.
