Below are a few of the outstanding benefits we offer:\nHealth benefits effective day one of employment.\nRetirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more!\nWhat you’ll do:\n\nThe Controls Tech tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical and electronic machinery and/or systems.\n\nIn this function, you will:\n\nEnsures compliance with all safety and housekeeping practices & company policies and procedures.\nTroubleshoots and repairs machine and equipment failures with necessary hand tools, portable power tools, and soldering irons.\nAssist, trains, and mentors other production and maintenance personnel as needed.\nReads and can modify if required schematic diagrams, job orders, and written procedures to determine required parts or procedures to follow for repair.\nUses test equipment such as oscilloscope, signal generators, power supplies and multimeters to check electrical requirements.\nTests and calibrates units according to the specifications and replaces defective components if necessary.\nMaintains test equipment.\nDevelop schematic diagrams of electrical systems.\nSupport projects to install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot automated equipment\nDiagnose and resolve electrical/controls problems including non-routine issues\nUse Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) including basic and ladder logic to read/write basic wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to diagnosis problems\nTroubleshoot and repair of low voltage electrical systems (600VAC and below)\nOversee and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols to guarantee the safe deactivation and isolation of equipment, ensuring energy control procedures are correctly applied to prevent inadvertent machine startup or hazardous energy discharge during repair or maintenance, in line with OSHA regulations and organizational safety guidelines.\nSafely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility.\nActively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.\nAdhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.\nQualifications:\nBasics Qualifications:\nMust have a High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.\nNo relocation benefit are being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
