Act as focal point for problem resolution, interacting with Client employees and vendors, and serve as trainer and mentor to other Linux Administrators.\r\nWindows server administration – perform complex functional activities in support of servers running the Windows server operating system, exercising independent judgment and analytical skill in solving complex technical problems, serving as focal point for problem resolution, trainer and mentor to other Windows Administrators.\r\nResponsibilities Provide day-to-day incident and deployment support of multiple server operating systems, including Unix, Linux and Windows, which includes on-site and remote administration, user support, performance monitoring and tuning, and capacity planning.\r\nProvide day-to-day incident and deployment support of middle tier applications, including web and application servers, containers and container managers, messaging technologies, cloud platform and services, automation tools, scripting languages and monitoring tools.\r\nManage incident response via the Client ServiceNow application in accordance with published Client Change Management Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\r\nPerform a technical leadership role in incident response, maintenance, documentation, and support of large, complex, distributed server, database, and middleware environments.\r\nDevelop growth plans as needed to ensure hosting environment can support projected application growth.\r\nDevelop and implement procedures that support proactive problem detection and avoidance, including disaster recovery planning and implementation.\r\nCreate and maintain project plans, notify Client management of critical failures or missed milestones.\r\nWork with Program Manager, Project Managers, Engineering staff, Client staff and vendors to manage projects, drive outcomes and lead teams.\r\nAnalyze and resolve complex hardware and software problems.\r\nAssist Client development community to perform tests and implement software, add, and changes.\r\nDevelop and implement operational management processes and procedures.\r\nTrack inventory and provide documentation required for server deployment.\r\nUse alert monitoring tools chosen by Client Management.\r\nUse systems management and software distribution tools chosen by Client Management.\r\nUse security management systems and facilitate backups and restores of data and application code.\r\nEscalate unusual or unexpected findings to Client.\r\nProvide reports on system status to users and managers as requested.\r\nProvide weekly status reports and maintain hours worked on projects.\r\nUse change and case management procedures as required.\r\nProvide action plan for resolution of faults detected.\r\nPerform isolation testing of problem equipment and/or software.\r\nDocument all solutions to problems and application guidelines and issues.\r\nProvide reports to Client Management on solutions found.\r\nImplement escalation process and procedures.\r\nFollow the appropriate quality assurance program.\r\nProvide on-site system or application support for deployment/installation as required.\r\nInteract with all Client functional groups to accomplish objectives.\r\nCreate and edit computer-based documentation and trouble ticket systems.\r\nPerform assistance, training and information sharing to users and other administrators.\r\nMaintain leadership qualities and attitude in alignment with Client standards.\r\nQualifications A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years' relevant experience.
