RN - Emergency Department (ER/ED) The staff nurse provides direct care to patients using the nursing process of assessment: planning, implementation, and evaluation, so that the physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and their families are addressed. This function is performed in association with nursing peers and co-workers, attending physicians, and allied support services. This position is responsible for managing care of assigned patients and directing the activities of the ancillary staff. We are a Level 4 trauma center and a stroke center. It is expected nursing staff will know how to respond to traumas, stroke, and STEMI's and basic medical emergencies. Special Procedures/Unit Details: - Special Equipment: - #Tier3 Travel Compliance MUST be available to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing Nursys within the last 2 weeks with Valid State License - required at time of submission Copy of Certifications required at time of submission All certs must be AHA or American Red Cross and in hand at the time of the submittal Candidate submission MUST include Sutter Cover Sheet 2 References obtained within the last year are REQUIRED Return Staff/Traveler policy: Please include former manager name on app/during submission Requires specific amount of exp - 2 yrs required for submission RTO only one holiday will be approved 50 miles travel requirement; Locals accepted at local rate, please confirm that locals are aware that they are accepted at a lower BR Specific Charting Exp. Required - Epic experience preferred Background Policy to be noted prior to submission please state if they have any BG hits or DUIs. They just need to know prior to submission Work History Verification: 7-Year Work History Verification Required for all candidates. Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 1-5 hours spent on modules and are factored in NBO.
