Position Summary
We are a fast-paced prototype and low-volume manufacturing company seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Inventory Associate to support material flow, inventory accuracy, and production readiness.
This role is critical to ensuring that raw materials, components, and finished prototype parts are accurately tracked, properly stored, and delivered to the production floor on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly and precision matters.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
Label, store, and organize raw materials (sheet metal, components, hardware, etc.).
Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counting and physical audits.
Issue materials to production teams and track usage in the inventory system.
Manage prototype part inventory, including segregation of customer-specific materials.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including small parcel and LTL freight.
Coordinate with purchasing, production, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain clean, organized warehouse areas and proper material storage practices.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
Support end-of-month inventory reconciliation and reporting.
Qualifications
2+ years of warehouse or inventory experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
Experience working in a prototype or low-volume production environment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Comfortable working with ERP or inventory management systems.
Ability to read basic production documents and material specifications.
Forklift experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience handling sheet metal, fabricated parts, or industrial materials.
Understanding of FIFO practices and material traceability.
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, inventory software).
