This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable technical skills, and be part of a team that helps keep our operations running smoothly around the clock.\n\nAvailable Shifts\n\n2nd Shift\n\nSunday through Thursday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (30-minute flex)\n\nDuring Peak Season (November and December), associates may be scheduled Sunday through Friday\n\nPeak schedules may also shift to Monday through Friday or Monday through Saturday based on business needs\n\n3rd Shift (Battery Technician)\n\nMonday through Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (shift begins Sunday night)\n\n30-minute flex schedule\n\nDuring Peak Season (November and December), associates may be scheduled Monday through Saturday\n\nRotating Shift Schedule\n\nUnique Opportunity to Build Experience Across Multiple Shifts!\n\nTo provide well-rounded training and exposure, team members will rotate every three months between:\n\n2nd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM\n\n3rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM\n\nIf you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nResponsibilities\n\nUsing a work order system to receive assignments, performs routine repairs and adjustments or planned maintenance on a variety of vehicles, grounds keeping equipment, equipment trailers and material handling equipment. Examples may include oil and filter changes, tire rotation, tire mounting and balancing, brake jobs, troubleshooting emissions codes, vehicle, and equipment PM’s as well as monthly and quarterly vehicle inspections. Minor paint touch-ups and applying rust prevention products to the underside of vehicles as needed. Work on sewing equipment, material handling equipment including conveyors, case cutting machines, automated packing equipment, sewing equipment and powered industrial trucks may include planned maintenance, routine repairs, audible and visual inspections, troubleshooting and repair as well as assisting with any other Facilities need as required. Examples are cleaning up flooded areas, lifting fire doors, maintaining, cleaning and swapping P.I.T. batteries.\n\nExamines the equipment to diagnose problems.\n\nOrders or retrieves appropriate parts and supplies.\n\nDisassemble equipment to repair or replace broken or worn components.\n\nInspects completed repairs.\n\nAssignments are completed when parts are signed out, the work area has been cleaned, the labor report has been updated and the work orders are completed and closed.\n\nProvides support to the Garage and Mechanical Maintenance technicians.\n\nAssures appropriate communications of problems to co-workers and leadership.\n\nKnows and follows all safety rules and procedures. Reports unsafe acts or conditions to Leadership.\n\nHealth and Safety Requirement\n\nEvery employee is responsible for contributing to a safe and healthy workplace. Employees are expected to be active participants in health and safety by following all safety policies and procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or at-risk behaviors to leadership, and conducting work in a safe manner.
