We are looking for a highly motivated Agentic code analysis engineer to join us on this mission.\n\nYou are invited to meet the Mend R&D team here!\n\nIn this role, you will:\n\nResearch and develop next-gen code analysis and remediation algorithms\n\nWork hands-on with GenAI models and integrate them into detection workflows\n\nTackle complex software analysis problems (e.g., call graphs, control/data/taint flow analysis)\n\nCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Algorithm software engineers and application software engineers to prototype, validate, and productize your innovations\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign and implement machine learning and algorithmic solutions for code analysis\n\nBuild GenAI-powered developer tools for static and semantic code analysis\n\nEnhance our existing detection infrastructure with intelligent, context-aware insights\n\nTranslate cutting-edge research into practical, scalable product features\n\nRequirements:\n\nMSc in Computer Science (or related field) from a top-tier institution – Big Advantage\n\n3+ years of software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python (primary) and familiarity with Java / C++ / JavaScript codebases.\n\nHands-on experience with LLMs / GenAI systems, including prompt engineering, inference optimization, and model evaluation.\n\nExperience designing LLM-driven pipelines (agentic or tool-augmented), including:\n\nStructured outputs (JSON schemas), Multi-step reasoning/verification flows\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills – Must\n\nAdvantage:\n\nFamiliarity with ML for code , static/dynamic analysis tools, and AST-level representations\n\nExperience with web application security , vulnerability detection, or remediation\n\nProficiency in one or more of: JavaScript, C#, Python, Go, PHP\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-native environments and CI/CD workflows (AWS, Azure)\n\nOur Culture\nAt Mend.io, we are leading the way in securing AI-powered applications, and we believe the best innovations come from teams where everyone feels valued.
