Success in this role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nTeam Leadership & Development\n\nLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering professional growth and technical expertise.\nPromote a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nEstablish team objectives and performance expectations aligned with organizational goals, product strategies, and business priorities.\n\nTechnical Leadership\n\nProvide technical leadership and strategic direction for the design, development, integration, and validation of engineering solutions.\nEnsure products and systems comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, safety guidelines, and customer specifications.\nReview, approve, and maintain engineering deliverables, including requirements, schematics, technical documentation, and validation plans.\n\nProgram & Project Management\n\nLead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple engineering programs, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.\nPartner closely with Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch execution.\nProvide technical support to manufacturing operations and production facilities as needed to address product and process challenges.\nIdentify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution of technical and operational issues throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation\n\nSupport customer interactions, technical reviews, design discussions, and proposal development activities.\nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align technical solutions with customer and business requirements.\nChampion innovation initiatives and contribute to technology roadmaps that support long-term strategic objectives and market competitiveness.\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering discipline or related technical field.\n10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex engineering solutions.\n5+ years of leadership or people management experience, including team development and performance management.\nDeep understanding of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) architectures, components, and applicable safety and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, UL, IEC).\nStrong project management capabilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.\nExperience managing and collaborating with global teams across multiple regions and cultures.\nProven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and influence stakeholders at all levels.\nPassion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a focus on advancing technology and engineering excellence.\n\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
