Job Summary Hope Side Treatment Center Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Serving Adults (Male & Female) Job Overview: Hope Side Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. The LVN will provide compassionate medical care and support to adult clients receiving substance use treatment. This role involves working with both male and female clients in a collaborative setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to promote recovery and well-being. Responsibilities: Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or reactions. Perform routine health assessments, including vital signs, and document all findings accurately. Assist in the development and monitoring of care plans in collaboration with the treatment team. Respond to medical emergencies promptly and appropriately. Monitor clients for signs of withdrawal and other health-related concerns, communicating with clinical staff as needed. Educate clients on health-related topics, including medication management and wellness strategies. Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure the confidentiality of client information. Qualifications: Current California LVN license in good standing. Knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and withdrawal symptoms. Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with clients, staff, and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently. Must pass a background check. Preferred Experience: Experience in addiction treatment, mental health, or medical detox settings. Schedule: Shifts: Morning, Evening and overnight available.
