This position oversees all contract activities, ensuring effective program delivery, regulatory compliance, and alignment with DOE mission objectives. The PM manages multidisciplinary teams providing technical, administrative, scientific, and programmatic support for the oversight and coordination of the Hanford Mission.\nResponsibilities:\nLeadership and Oversight\nServe as the primary point of contact between DOE HFO leadership and the contractor organization.\nMaintain managerial and supervisory control over all personnel assigned to the contract.\nProvide strategic leadership to ensure all deliverables and services are completed on schedule, within scope, and to DOE standards.\nLead program planning and execution, integrating multidisciplinary technical and administrative teams across HFO support functions.\nEnsure the timely submission of high-quality deliverables, reports, analyses, and documentation.\nProgram Management\nDevelop and manage program work plans, schedules, and staffing aligned with contract performance requirements.\nOversee project planning, cost estimating, risk management, performance measurement, and earned value management (EVM).\nSupport oversight of field activities, analyses, technical evaluations, and document development to assist DOE in mission execution.\nManage and monitor scope changes and staffing levels in coordination with DOE and company leadership.\nMaintain compliance with Federal, DOE, and contract-specific regulations, including safety, security, and environmental standards.\nStakeholder and Communication\nFoster effective collaboration between DOE staff, contractors, and external stakeholders.\nFacilitate communication and coordination among technical, administrative, and field oversight teams.\nPrepare and deliver presentations, briefings, and reports to DOE and other stakeholders.\nUphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality, ensuring all personnel adhere to NDA requirements.\nPersonnel and Resource Management\nEnsure all staff maintain required training, certifications, and security clearances.\nProvide mentorship, performance management, and development opportunities for staff.\nCoordinate with DOE for Government-furnished resources and manage contractor-furnished materials, supplies, and equipment.\nMaintain workforce flexibility to accommodate staffing level fluctuations (+/- 15%).\nQualifications and Experience:\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).\nMinimum of 10 years of progressive experience in program or project management within DOE, Federal, or large-scale environmental or technical support environments.\nDemonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in complex technical and administrative environments.\nKnowledge and Skills\nExpertise in DOE or Federal project management, including acquisition, budget, and contract management.\nStrong understanding of environmental cleanup, nuclear operations, safety, and compliance oversight.\nProficient in program integration, scheduling, and performance reporting.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences.\nProven leadership in fostering collaboration across technical, administrative, and regulatory stakeholders.\nCertifications\nPMP or equivalent professional certification preferred.\nDOE or Federal facility management certifications a plus.\nLocation: Primary work location is on-site at the Hanford Field Office in Richland, WA, with some approved remote flexibility.
