Senior Accounting Manager

Senior Accounting ManagerSincere is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the company's accounting function and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all financial reporting. You'll oversee the close process, maintain strong internal controls, manage tax and audit requirements, and support leadership with critical accounting insights. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. In this role, you will: Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Manage preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP Lead and manage the annual audit process, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors Coordinate all tax filings (sales, income, and other) in partnership with internal teams and CPA firm Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls across the organization Manage the company's banking relationships, serving as the primary point of contact with financial institutions to optimize services, ensure compliance, and support strategic initiatives. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance Provide accounting support for licensing partnerships and cross-functional initiatives Deliver ad-hoc reporting and technical accounting analysis as needed You have: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in GAAP CPA designation, MBA, or equivalent preferred Advanced Excel skills Experience with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) Experience with multi-entity/consolidated financial statements Knowledge of cost accounting and tax compliance Proven ability to manage audits and strengthen internal controls Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Based within commuting distance of Framingham, MA (in-office one day per week)
