Maintenance Technician

Job Description Omnipure Filter Company revolutionized the water filtration industry by making the first small disposable inline carbon filter. With the simple concept of "better tasting water," the best inline water filter in the world was established in 1970. Omnipure is looking looking for Maintenance Technicians to join our operations team. The successful candidate will perform mold and tooling changes, make setup adjustments on molding machines, and ensure that equipment operates effectively to achieve optimal product quality.Key Responsibilities:· Set up, start up, and troubleshoot jobs within the molding department.· Perform mold and material changes as directed by the supervisor.· Conduct basic maintenance tasks on machinery as needed.· Support process improvements and cycle time optimizations.· Maintain departmental equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.· Verify machine processes daily to ensure consistent quality.· Operate a forklift safely and in accordance with safety protocols.· Collaborate with machine operators, quality department, and molding supervisor.· Diagnose and repair minor maintenance issues on molding machines and auxiliary equipment.· Conduct necessary inspections and measurements to ensure part quality.· Maintain 5S standards within the work area.· Support molding team to help drive success.· Support SMED processes.
