Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist Job Details: • Perform a variety of imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and Surgery • Function as the first line interface with patients for imaging needs • Maintain professional image by adhering to established dress code requirements • Attend all mandatory education and in-service programs • Comply with hospital confidentiality and HIPAA requirements • Maintain accurate and timely Medical Imaging patient medical records including Radiology, Vascular and Echo Lab • Handle filing and distribution of Radiology reports according to department protocol • Perform office related duties when office staff is absent • Identify patients and review requisitions for consistency of examination with clinical diagnosis • Assess patient condition and ensure safety through proper use of restraint/support devices • Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate pertinent data • Document patient information accurately in computer systems • Organize patient care and set priorities by providing critical care first • Participate in training and orientation of new employees • Required certifications: Graduation from accredited school of radiology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification, Valid Illinois Radiology license • CPR/AED and CT certifications welcomed but not required • Physical demands include standing/walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and performing fine motor tasks Facility: This medical complex provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
