Regional Sales Manager

Mackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a leading manufacture of building envelope solutions, selling via pull through distribution. They are looking to add a Regional Sales Manager in a player coach role, helping to build out their presence across the West and help close large deals from manufacturing reps.You will be covering all of the Northeastern states - NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME. You must be comfortable with overnight travel for this position. Travel expectations include overnight travel for one week every two weeks.Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base of given territoryWork with the independent sales representatives to assess local sales channels by monitoring contractors, services, pricing, competitors, and market positioningGenerate and close new business opportunities while serving and growing existing businessEstablish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customersProvide technical support and product knowledge to customers and the sales teamConduct job site and customer callsRequirements: 5+ years of sales experience in the Building Materials vertical2+ years experience with building envelope productsExperience managing a book of business across a multi-state territoryTrack record of revenue growthDemonstrated/potential ability to lead and manage a high-performing sales teamStrong understanding of sales performance metricsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrategic thinker with strong analytical skillsAbility to travel within the region as neededCompensation: Competitive base salary and lucrative commission - $30k commission in first year as conservative estimate (commission paid monthly)Insurance: day-one health coverage medical, dental, visionPaid Time Off: Vacation and company holidays401k match
