Surgical Technologist

Overview We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Duties - Prepare operating rooms for surgery - Set up surgical instruments and equipment - Assist in preparing patients for surgery - Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery - Monitor and maintain a sterile field - Handle specimens for laboratory analysis - Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly - Provide support to medical staff during surgeries Qualifications - Experience or knowledge in ICU, critical care, or emergency medicine is preferred - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) - Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy - Familiarity with aseptic techniques - Ability to collect and document data accurately - Strong patient care skills - Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $52,728.00 - $78,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical Specialty: Surgery Schedule: 12 hour shift Day shift Morning shift Experience: Basic life support: 1 year (Required) Medical terminology: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Required) Certified Surgical Technologist (Required) Ability to Relocate: Lewiston, ID: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
