This position is ideal for a customer-focused engineering professional who can manage programs from initial prototyping and development through production while coordinating closely with customers, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.\n\nThe Program Manager will serve as a key customer contact while driving schedules, resolving manufacturing challenges, coordinating engineering requirements, and ensuring projects successfully transition into production.\n\nWhy Join Us\n\nTemp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing organization\nCustomer-facing role with significant ownership and visibility\nLead programs from prototype and development through production\nWork closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams\nOpportunity to influence processes, documentation, tooling, and production readiness\nExposure to complex medical, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing programs\nApproximately 15% travel\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and programs\nManage customer communication regarding schedules, development requirements, production concerns, RMAs, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions\nCoordinate new product introduction activities from prototype through production\nDevelop and maintain assembly documentation, Device History Records, manufacturing tooling requirements, and process workflows\nCoordinate initial production training and support production-floor implementation\nPartner with Test Engineering to develop, install, maintain, and qualify test stations as needed\nTroubleshoot test failures and develop appropriate troubleshooting documentation and guides\nEvaluate customer requirements, engineering changes, and manufacturing issues and communicate them across cross-functional teams\nWork directly with production personnel to resolve manufacturing questions and issues\nLead the development of Production Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities\nPrepare, review, and update project quotations and Statements of Work (SOW)\nPartner with quoting and program teams on cost updates, new assemblies, revisions, and project requirements\nMonitor program schedules and ensure customer expectations and production objectives are achieved\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred\nMinimum of 5 years of engineering experience within medical, aerospace, industrial, or similar highly regulated manufacturing environments\nPrevious experience working directly with customers in a technical or program management capacity\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent organizational, planning, and project coordination abilities\nProficiency with Microsoft Office\nWorking knowledge of CAD platforms such as Altium, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or comparable systems\nElectrical circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting experience preferred\nAbility to work effectively across engineering, manufacturing, production, quality, and customer-facing teams\nWillingness to travel approximately 15%\n\nIdeal Candidate\n\nThe strongest candidate will be an experienced engineering or manufacturing professional who combines technical knowledge with strong customer-management skills.
