Enphase is also one of the most successful and innovative clean energy companies in the world, with more than 80 million products shipped across 160 countries.Join our dynamic teams designing and developing next-gen energy technologies and help drive a sustainable future!About The RoleTo be a key member in our Austin laboratory supporting systems engineering and experimental board testing.What You Will DoProvide prototype circuit board (PCB) soldering rework and making cable harnessesAssist engineering with test and measurement of prototypes and productsMaintain clean and orderly workspaces in the laboratory environmentBuild experimental test setups for electrical, thermal, and EMI testingMaintain laboratory equipment asset list and calibration scheduleOrder and maintain stock of laboratory consumables (cables, heatshrink, components like resistors, capacitors, FETs, IC's, connectors, crimps, lugs etc)Work with AC voltage (single and three phase) and power carrying conductors at 120/208v and 277/480V Prepare (and assist with design of) test racks that include power supplies, devices under test, test equipment and related interconnecting cables and assembliesPrepare, install and work with electrical panels and enclosures, including populating and wiring of devices and breakersFollowing applicable safety procedures, lift/handle and move boxes of inverters, batteries, power supplies, and other equipmentAccess facility roof for maintenance of PV systems (inverters, PV panels and balance of system components)Who You Are And What You BringAssociate degree in engineering, or ET certification or equivalentAbility to read electrical schematics, BOMs (Bill of Material), layout and rework instructionsIPC-A-610 soldering certificationSurface mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering assembly and reworkWire cable and harness assemblyProficiency with common power electronics laboratory test equipment (DC and AC power supplies, analyzers and oscilloscopes) Experience using Arena PLM application, Jira, and Confluence documentation tools High-volume product development supportFamiliarity with using Python is a plus Familiarity with using PuTTY or other CLI application is a plusFirmware and Software programming of on-board digital devices is a plusAC wiring fundamentals, including experience working with AC electrical boxes, fittings, conduit and connnectors Experience constructing test racks, including AC and DC power conductor routing design and installationThe base pay range for this position is $29 to $42 per hour. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
