ApplyDescriptionWe are seeking an experienced HR and Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee human resources operations, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations for a growing government contracting organization. This is a hands-on, in-office role responsible for HR management, full-cycle recruiting, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and HR systems support in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in government contracting, working with cleared personnel, recruiting across technical and non-technical roles, and using Paylocity HRIS/payroll systems. Excellent communication skills with both customers and employees are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources ManagementManage day-to-day HR operations and employee relationsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsAdminister HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updatesSupport performance management and employee engagement initiativesOversee onboarding and offboarding processes, benefits administration, and personnel recordsMaintain HR documentation and compliance for government contracting requirementsCoordinate workforce planning and organizational development with leadershipBuild strong relationships with employees, management, and customersHandle employee concerns professionally and confidentiallyTalent Acquisition / RecruitingLead full-cycle recruiting for government contract and corporate positionsSource, screen, interview, and coordinate hiring for technical and non-technical rolesManage job postings across multiple platformsCoordinate interviews with hiring managers and executivesMaintain candidate pipelines and recruiting metricsSupport offer negotiations and onboarding coordinationMaintain professional communication with candidates, employees, and customersOnboarding & OffboardingManage full onboarding and offboarding lifecycle processes for employeesEnsure completion of all employment, compliance, and security documentationCoordinate security clearance processing and verification as requiredFacilitate new hire orientation and integration into the organizationConduct exit processing, including system access removal and documentationPartner with leadership to ensure smooth employee transitions in and out of the companyHR Systems & AdministrationUtilize Paylocity for HRIS, payroll coordination, onboarding, offboarding, and reportingMaintain accurate employee and candidate dataGenerate HR and recruiting reports for leadershipImprove HR and recruiting processes for efficiency and complianceRequirementsQualifications5–8+ years of combined HR management and recruitingPrior experience in a government contracting environment requiredExperience working with cleared personnel / security clearance processes requiredStrong knowledge of federal employment regulations and HR complianceHands-on experience with Paylocity requiredExperience managing onboarding and offboarding processes requiredExcellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsStrong ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and customersStrong attention to detail and accuracy in HR documentation and processesStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work independently in an in-office environmentBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredSHRM-CP, PHR, or similar How To ApplyPlease submit your resume along with a brief summary of your HR and recruiting experience, including your background in government contracting, clearance work, onboarding/offboarding, Paylocity experience, and attention to detail
