The position is focused on product development, with a strong emphasis on data transformations, ETL, and XSLT pipelines. The ideal candidate will lead by example in building robust, high-performance software and will play a key role in re-architecting critical data transformation pipelines for resiliency and cost efficiency.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nLead and contribute to the development of core product features in the CLM platform.\r\nCollaborate with architects, product owners, and customers to clarify requirements and ensure successful delivery.\r\nApply Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.\r\nDesign, implement, and optimize data transformation pipelines with a focus on performance and scalability.\r\nWrite and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.\r\nMentor teammates, providing technical guidance and best practices.\r\nParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, and process improvements.\r\nEnsure compliance with QMS and ISMS standards.\r\nRequirements\r\nU.S. citizenship (mandatory).\r\n7–12 years of recent professional experience developing Java and Spring Boot applications.\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.\r\nStrong expertise in object-oriented programming and design patterns.\r\nHands-on recent experience with XML/XSLT/XSL-FO/XPath/XQuery, RESTful web services, relational databases, AngularJS or Angular 20, JUnit and automated testing, and HTML/JavaScript.\r\nSolid understanding of scalable application architecture.\r\nProficiency with version control and CI/CD pipelines.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nProven experience in ETL and large-scale data pipeline engineering, especially optimizing for resiliency and cost efficiency.\r\nFamiliarity with AWS cloud services.\r\nKnowledge of aviation publishing standards (S1000D, ATA iSpec2200).\r\nPrevious experience in the aviation, aerospace, or MRO industry.\r\nDemonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.\r\nStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\r\nAbility to thrive both independently and as part of a team.\r\nConsistent track record of delivering in deadline-driven environments.\r\nCommitment to software engineering best practices.\r\nAbility to use AI productivity tools.\r\nSalary\r\n$110,000 to $160,000 per year.\r\nEEO Statement\r\nFlatirons Solutions is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
