They operate specialized equipment to create images showing how organs and tissues are functioning. This role includes explaining procedures, ensuring radiation safety for patients and themselves, maintaining equipment, and documenting the processes. The technologist collaborates with physicians to diagnose conditions and provide crucial data for patient care and research, often working in hospitals, clinics, and labs. Responsibilities Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Operate specialized imaging equipment. Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed. Document imaging processes and patient information. Collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosing conditions. Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience - Required Cardiac experience - Required BLS certification - Preferred Why ARMStaffing?
