We provide customers leading edge support from prototype to production.\n\nSUMMARY OF POSITION:\n\nThe Technical Program Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.\n\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES:\n\nDevelops comprehensive project plans, including timelines, and dependencies to guide projects from initiation to completion.\nIdentifies necessary resource allocations or challenges to support project timelines\nLeads and coordinates cross functional efforts across teams to ensure alignment and effective project execution\nIdentifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies and proactively address issues to minimize project impact\nCommunicates with stakeholders on status updates, key decisions, and potential roadblocks\nTrack metrics against key performance indicators (KPIs)\nCommunicates with customers internally and externally on new product introduction (NPI) project status\nIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve project management across multiple sites\nComply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices.\nPerform additional related duties as assigned.\n\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or 3 years related work experience in Semiconductor, Aerospace, Medical or Automotive industry in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nProject management experience managing multiple projects across multiple sites as needed for business oiperations.\nExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).\n\n PHYSICAL DEMANDS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB:\n\nStanding or Sitting for extended periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, or bending to the floor; use hands to handle or feel parts and materials; reach with hands and arms and overhead; and talk and/or hear instructions and equipment sounds.\nOccasionally sitting or standing\nLifting and/or moving items up to 40 pounds.\nClose vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nAbility to differentiate shades and color to identify coating defects.\nNear acuity or accommodation required for reading instrumentation and documentation, dial and digital gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of coating operations.\nAbility to handle delicate parts.\n\n WORKING ENVIRONMENT OF THE JOB:\n\nRegularly exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts, ovens, and risk of burns.\nOccasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.\nHigh noise levels from operating machines.\nThe employee will be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous materials commonly used in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses and shoes, gloves, ear plugs/covers, mask, cleanroom suit).\nApproximately 80/20 office and shop floor environment.\nLow noise levels in office environment.\nHigh noise levels while working near operating machines.\nPhysical hazards while working near moving equipment and mechanical parts.\nPossible breathing of fumes, odors, dust, and mist.\n\nCULTURE:\n\nAt FM Industries our success is powered by people and technology.
