Assistant Professor of Economics and Business - Marketing SpecializationThe Department of Economics and Business at Colorado College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics and Business specializing in marketing. The position begins Fall 2027.ResponsibilitiesTeach five courses annually and advise students' senior theses (counted as a sixth course).Maintain an active research program and contribute to college service.Required QualificationsPh.D. in Business or related field by the start of employment (ABD candidates will be considered).Excellent teaching promise.Ability to teach Consumer Marketing (BU326) and other marketing courses.Willingness to teach two departmental or general-education courses annually (e.g., Introduction to Business and Society, Principles of Financial Accounting, Society, Business, and Economics, Business Analytics, Qualitative Research Methods, First-Year Critical Inquiry Seminar, or First-Year Writing Seminar).Active research agenda aimed at peer-reviewed publications commensurate with selective liberal arts institutions.Ph.D. or DBA in Business or related field with research in marketing; alternatively, a Ph.D. in Psychology, Economics, Statistics, Sociology, or a JD with research in marketing and marketing teaching experience.Preferred QualificationsUndergraduate teaching experience.Application ProcessContinuous recruitment; position may close without notice.
